Breath Work Series Part 4 ┃ Nadi Shodhana

Welcome to Part 4 of the Samsara Flow Breathwork Series with Malini from Samsara Flow Wellness Centre in Mulbarton, Johannesburg South.

This session explores Nadi Shodhana, often translated as Alternate Nostril Breathing.

In yogic tradition, “Nadi” refers to energy channels within the body, while “Shodhana” means purification or cleansing. This practice is traditionally used to balance opposing energies, calm the nervous system, and cultivate mental clarity.

Modern life often pulls us between doing and resting, thinking and feeling, activity and recovery. Nadi Shodhana offers a simple yet powerful way to restore equilibrium.

This practice may support:

🌿 Nervous system regulation
🌿 Reduced stress and anxiety
🌿 Improved concentration and mental clarity
🌿 Emotional balance
🌿 Mindfulness and self-awareness
🌿 A sense of calm focus before work, study, or sleep

Suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners alike, this breathwork practice invites you to slow down, become present, and reconnect with your natural rhythm.

Find a comfortable seat, soften your breath, and allow a few moments of stillness to guide you back to centre.
