Welcome to Part 5 and the final session of the Samsara Flow Breathwork Series with Malini from Samsara Flow Wellness Centre in Mulbarton, Johannesburg South.
This session explores Bhastrika Pranayama, traditionally known as Bellows Breath.
Just as a blacksmith’s bellows uses rhythmic bursts of air to ignite a flame, Bhastrika uses active breathing to stimulate energy throughout the body. In yogic traditions, this practice is believed to awaken vitality, clear stagnant energy, and prepare the mind for deeper awareness.
While previous practices in this series focused on calming, cooling, and balancing the nervous system, Bhastrika introduces a different quality — conscious activation.
This practice may support:
🔥 Increased energy and alertness
🔥 Improved focus and concentration
🔥 Greater breath awareness
🔥 Mental clarity and motivation
🔥 Reduced feelings of sluggishness and fatigue
🔥 A stronger connection between breath and body
As with all breathwork practices, listen to your body and work within your own comfort level.
This guided session is an invitation to finish the series feeling energised, grounded, and empowered by one of the most accessible tools we all possess — the breath.
Thank you for joining us on this journey through breath awareness, nervous system regulation, mindfulness, and self-discovery.

Welcome to Part 4 of the Samsara Flow Breathwork Series with Malini from Samsara Flow Wellness Centre in Mulbarton, Johannesburg South.
This session explores Nadi Shodhana, often translated as Alternate Nostril Breathing.
In yogic tradition, “Nadi” refers to energy channels within the body, while “Shodhana” means purification or cleansing. This practice is traditionally used to balance opposing energies, calm the nervous system, and cultivate mental clarity.
Modern life often pulls us between doing and resting, thinking and feeling, activity and recovery. Nadi Shodhana offers a simple yet powerful way to restore equilibrium.
This practice may support:
🌿 Nervous system regulation
🌿 Reduced stress and anxiety
🌿 Improved concentration and mental clarity
🌿 Emotional balance
🌿 Mindfulness and self-awareness
🌿 A sense of calm focus before work, study, or sleep
Suitable for beginners and experienced practitioners alike, this breathwork practice invites you to slow down, become present, and reconnect with your natural rhythm.
Find a comfortable seat, soften your breath, and allow a few moments of stillness to guide you back to centre.

Balance the breath. Balance the mind. Balance the day. 🤍
Feeling overstimulated, emotionally heated, anxious, or mentally “full”?
Sitali Breath is a calming yogic breathing technique traditionally used to cool the body, settle the nervous system, and create a sense of inner ease.
In Part 3 of the Samsara Breathwork Series, Malini guides you through this simple but deeply regulating practice designed to help you slow down, soften tension, and reconnect with calm.
In Part 2 of our Samsara Flow Breath Work Series, Malini gently guides you through the 4-7-8 breathing pattern, a calming practice often used to support stress relief, nervous system regulation, emotional grounding, and deeper rest.
This technique works by slowing the breath rhythm and extending the exhale, helping the body soften out of “fight or flight” and into a steadier, more settled state.
In this session, you’ll learn:
• how the 4-7-8 pattern works
• when to use it in daily life
• how breath affects the nervous system
• simple ways to build calm through repetition and awareness
Whether you’re navigating stress, overwhelm, anxious thoughts, fatigue, or simply needing a pause in your day, this practice offers a gentle place to begin.
